Auntie with a mother's instinct
The rose-coloured starling that was ringed at the observatory during the last days of May has settled with the other starlings in the area. It seems to have adopted the behaviour of locally breeding starlings, as it appears to help with collection of food and flies back and forth between the nests at Vågsvoll and the nourishing sea weed on the beach by the lighthouse, just like its more common relatives.
