The Firecrest breeds throughout most of Central and Southern Europe, as well as in Turkey and North Africa. On 7.11.2020, three Firecrests were caught at the same time (photo).
We consider it a rare bird in the bird station area. However, the species has been seen or ringed every year for the past 5 years. The figures below show updated data from the bird station:
