The Blue Tit is a species that roams in autumn. They move in flocks and wander over relatively large distances in search of food, about 200 km on average. But they rarely cross stretches of sea. Here in Scandinavia, there are large movements of Blue Tits in the end of September and the first couple of weeks in October, and in some years this species is invasive with a record number of individuals roaming.
