The Common Rosefinch breeds in Norway. It migrates towards southeast and overwinters in Asia.
The population is declining in Norway and is therefore "vulnerable" on the Norwegian Red List of Endangered Species.
This species is caught almost every year at Lista BO in the standardized ringing. The figures below show updated data from the bird station:
